VADM CC Smith was a lieutenant in 1957 when detached on the USS Saratoga (Det. 43-57). In 1975 I found him again as the skipper of the USS Enterprise when she pulled into Singapore while I was living there. Then he went on to become an admiral. From: Daryl Phillippi PH1.
